Baby Bump Tracker Week 24 || Fit Pregnancy

Week 24
April 6th, 2014

Vacation prep has kept me so busy.  Along with sick household.  My last two weeks have been full of random and chaotic days.  I am so ready for vaca but at the same time so not ready ;)  Why oh why do I procrastinate so much!?   We are about to head to Cancun, my 2nd all expense paid trip I have earned from BB.  Last year it fell on my birthday and this year it is great timing for a baby moon.  When we return it will be crunch baby time, Iowa time, and BAM baby time!!!!  Eeeekk seriously where has the time gone?  I have been pretty emotional this week thinking how fast this time has passed and how little I have done or ready.  So crazy.  Anyone want to come be my fairy god mother and bippity boppity boo ... idk, clothes, crib, car seat, stroller, diapers, and everything else I don't have!?!?  Anyone?? I will share baby snuggles upon her arrival!!
So feel free to whip me in shape with gentle reminders that I need to NOT procrastinate any longer.

Anything making you queasy or sick-  Smells from perfumes have gotten me bad lately.

Baby Bump Tracker Week 16 || Fit Pregnancy

February 9th, 2015
16 Weeks

This week was a crazy busy and fast week!!  The boys had a lot going on for school and it was Valentines Day <3   This has probably been my best week of this pregnancy yet as far as energy, workouts, least amount of sickness, etc.

We had a great Valentines Day at home just like usual we make a sweet treat of chocolate covered strawberries and John grills some amazing steaks and we keep it super low key.  He definitely surprised me this year with 1 long stem rose (think the Bachelor) and gave me Alan Jackson concert tickets.  It was really quite adorable.

NOW to the good stuff.  Time to take a poll on if Baby #3 is a BOY or a GIRL.  I am going to list out the differences of this pregnancy vs my other two and let you be the judge.  Our appt. is quickly approaching and I can't wait to hear your vote!

1. With BOTH boys I found out ASAP (4 weeks)  With this baby I didn't find out until almost 6 wks
(b/c little to no symptoms)

2.  With the boys I was exhausted in my first tri mester SAME with this one

3.  I never experienced sickness with either boys With this baby I was so sick for pushing 4 weeks
(like couldn't barely move off the couch sick)

3.  I had NO glowing effect of pregnancy with the boys, this pregnancy I hear it once a day
(I don't feel like I am but everyone keeps saying it)

4.  I carried low with both boys, with this baby I have 3 people tell me I am carrying high

5.  My boys heart rates were low, this baby it is higher

6.  WIVES TALES:  With Braxton it said girl but was a boy, with Tatum it said boy, this baby it says GIRL.

7.  WIVES TALES: The swinging ring test with both boys said boy, this one it says GIRL

8.  WIVES TALES:  With the boys I had horrible blemishes, same goes for this baby

9:  WIVES TALES: Hormones...With the boys I was pretty even tempered, if I cried hormonally it was probably over food ;)   This baby, it takes NOTHING to make me cry

10. WIVES TALES: Last but not least with the boys I had NO specific craving that when I ate it it was like YES that was what I wanted.  This baby holy strong cravings for very specific things that hit the spot!!

Baby size of:  Cucumber

Favorite moment this week-  I felt the baby move ... three nights in a row!

Miss Anything:  Clear skin ;)

Movement:  Yes, I wasn't sure at first but 3 diff times in one night in the same place then it was 3 nights in a row, same place, between 9-10pm!!

Food cravings-  Cucumbers again!!

Anything making you queasy or sick-  Braxton threw up this week and that was absolutely horrible to have to deal with

Have you started to show yet-  YES!!

Gender-  See above to tell me what you think!!

Belly Button in or out-  In

Other Notes:  I feel great this week

Exercise:  6 Days this week!!! yay

Sleep:  Been good, been tired but sleeping well

Looking forward to:  Ultrasound day!!!!!!

Baby Bump Tracker Week 14 || Fit Pregnancy

January 26th, 2015
Week 14

We had a busy week with the boys uncle in town.  We hit the ProBowl, dinners out, Basketball games, then we made it to the Phoenix Open golf tourney, SuperBowl, and now I am absolutely EXHAUSTED.   We went went went for a week straight it feels like and I am hitting my wall.  Not like it takes much these days.  It was a really fun week full of new experiences.  We actually experienced like 4 days of very Oregon like weather, so sunshine, lots of rain, and gloominess.  So needless to say this sun addict is so happy the normal AZ weather is back!!

How far along –  14 weeks

Baby size of:  Beet

Favorite moment this week-  Feeling more "normal" this week

Miss Anything:  Energy

Movement:  Not yet...when does the movement start!?!?

Food cravings-  This week has been chicken!!  All types of chicken!

Anything making you queasy or sick-  Nothing in particular it just comes and goes.

Gender-  No hunches either way!  Everyone keeps telling me I have to have a hunch for boy or girl and I definitely don't.

Belly Button in or out-  In!

Other Notes:  This week flew by and I am late blogging but at the same time it was such a long week, a lot took place.  I had a night that I was cramping all night long and the only thing I could do to relieve it was walk and it was the last thing I wanted to do bc I was so tired!!  Thankfully I got a good nights rest and I felt better in the morning!

Exercise:  I think I hit 4 days this week of working out!! YAY.  Trying to get it in so I have more energy, its the most natural thing I can do to get some endorphins flowing.  Lots of squats, walking, lunges, and some weights.

Sleep:  I have been working a lot late at night and then getting up to get the boys to school but the hours I am sleeping are beautiful!! ;)

Looking forward to:  Consistent warm weather in the forecast, more activities outdoors, my bump showing so it actually looks like I am pregnant not that I just like to eat bread, and more visitors coming soon!!

Baby Bump Tracker Week 10 || Fit Pregnancy

Week 10  December 29th, 2014

I am a little bummed I don't have my chalk board yet to track my weeks and progress but it is on my goal list for this week.  With Christmas, parties, New Years, family, and sickness ... it is safe to say not a whole lot got done recently.  I haven't really started "showing" yet BUT this morning I felt like maybe I am starting to a little.  My nutrition has been so off lately so I am feeling a mix of baby and just lack there of food ;)  I did get a good workout in today too so I was feeling extra good!

How far along –  Week 10

Baby size of: Tart Kumquat (what the heck is that??) Looks like an orange

Gender-   Wish I knew

Belly Button in or out- In

Other Notes: Next Dr. Appt is end of Jan.  This part of pregnancy is so weird, not showing but feeling miserable.

Sleep:  I made it through the night multiple times this week...yay

Looking forward to: An appetite ;)  We have a VERY busy month so I feel like it will fly by I am excited to announce to the world soon and seeing friends we haven't seen in a few years and more family visiting!!

Other random facts: The baby can smell, it is using its hand to feel its face and mouth, and it can now make a fist.   Best yet, its vital organs have began to function!
We tried the ring on a string old wives tale with my MIL and it said circle was boy and back and forth was a girl ... these results were GIRL.  That is 2 wives tales for a GIRL!

Baby Bump Tracker week 9 || Fit Pregnancy

Week 9  December 22nd, 2014

As promised I would share the card we made, I couldn't get the whole card to upload but the left side just said Happy Holidays From The Thills, the pictures were the important part.  We had each family open it as if it were a gift and we skyped with them so we could see their reactions!  It was so great!!!  We saw tears, laughter, congrats, and complete shock!!  As hard as it was keeping it in, the reactions we got from this card were WELL worth the wait.

How far along – 8 Weeks

Baby size of: Raspberry

Favorite moment this week-  Dr. Appt!!!!   We got rescheduled twice, talk about making me crazy AND they didn't have any ultrasounds open so it was more of a meet and greet AND my Dr. got called into surgery so we met with a midwife!   However they told me very positive notes about having a VBac so overall I was pleased!!

Miss Anything: Normal food, healthy food, proper nutrition ... HA!

Movement: No

Food cravings-  Soup, Soup, and Soup!  It is the only thing I can even think about eating.  I did eat a few normal meals this week BUT only bc I didn't cook it ;)

Anything making you queasy or sick-  Waking up, moving, thinking, anything I smell.  For real, no actual getting sick and I am not sure what is worse...being so sick without being able to get sick or actually throwing up.  Since this has been 2 weeks of this I am convinced this is worse (my biased opinion)

Have you started to show yet-  No

Other Notes:  We have an ultrasound appt. next week!!!  Both boys will be with us so we will be telling them then and hopefully meeting our OB!

Sleep:  Still up atleast one time each night ... my already small bladder is being tested!

Looking forward to: Ultrasound appt and telling the boys AND I mailed out our cards to immediate family!!! Eeeekkkk!!!!

Interesting Fact from Parenting.com - If you could see your baby now, you'd be able to make out her eyelids, the tip of her nose, and her upper lip. She's approximately three-quarters of an inch long from top to bottom, and her brain, spinal cord, heart, kidneys, liver, and stomach have begun to take shape. The aortic and pulmonary valves are distinctly present in the heart, which has now divided into right and left chambers and gallops at twice your rate (about 150 times a minute). She has distinct, slightly webbed fingers and toes and see-through skin.

Interesting facts from parenting.com- By the end of this week, the embryo will more than double its length, growing from approximately 4 to 5 millimeters to 11 to 13 millimeters. It is now about the size of a raspberry. The head is disproportionately larger than the rest of the body, and dark spots mark where the eyes and nostrils will be. The forebrain has divided into the two parts that make up the cerebral hemispheres of the brain, where as many as 100 nerve cells are created each minute.
